Founding team
Jordi Mestre
PhD, MBA
Jordi obtained his PhD stablishing the seminal work on various fluorination technologies within our research line. He then pursued additional training in entrepreneurship, technology transfer, and business management, completing an MBA to enhance the valorization of chemical technologies developed in our lab.
Miguel Bernús
PhD
Miguel obtained his Master’s degree in photochemical transformations in Melchiorre’s lab. In 2023, he completed his Ph.D. at URV, focusing on the development of reagents for introducing new fluorosulfur motifs, such as SF5. During his studies, he also developed innovative flow methodologies under the supervision of Prof. Timothy Noël.
Omar Boutureira
PhD | Scientific advisor
Omar is the principal investigator of a research line Rovira i Virgili University that encompasses fluorination technologies and chemical biology. During his PhD studies and posterior postdoctoral stays at Oxford and Cambridge universities, he collected vast experience in glycobiology and protein modification and carbohydrate chemistry.
